“To my surprise Griezmann played badly during a year at Barca. However, I know what’s going on at Barca. Basically, Messi is not working hard enough. The training sessions are also arranged to please some, “said Mr. Lopez, Uncle Griezmann.

Then, Messi replied: “I am tired of being blamed, every time someone at this club has problems. After a 15-hour flight, I have to work with the tax authorities here. Ridiculous”.

Messi has just returned to Barca after completing his national duties. Messi and his teammates will have a difficult meeting with Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

“Having Messi in the squad is always a great thing. He can score from anywhere, it makes him special,” said the German goalkeeper.

“I hope Messi continues to stay at Barca and feels happy. You have to give him a chance to overcome all obstacles because he is an extremely important part of us,” added Ter Stegen.

Messi surpassed Mascherano’s record just two days after former Barca and Argentina midfielder announced his retirement. On his personal page, Messi expressed gratitude and happiness to be a teammate of Mascherano in both the club and the national team.

With 142 caps for Argentina, Messi balances with Javier Zanetti’s performance and is aiming to break Mascherano’s 147-time record. He is also the best striker in Argentina history with 71 goals for the national team.
